ADAPT Jubilee Celebration

50 Years of Dignity, Respect, and Empowerment

The Halton Alcohol Drug & Gambling Assessment, Prevention & Treatment Services (ADAPT) gathered in Milton’s scenic Country Heritage Park to celebrate 50 years of dedicated service to the Halton Region. Guests gathered in the venue for a commemorative afternoon event honoring those who have contributed to ADAPT’s legacy and to the establishment of this milestone.

Founded in 1975 as Ontario’s first ministry funded community addictions service provider, ADAPT pioneered a full continuum of prevention, awareness, and treatment services to the Halton region. Primarily funded by various Ontario Ministries, ADAPT works in tandem with local hospitals, health and regional partners to deliver accessible and effective services and support.

After the event, ADAPT received letters of acknowledgement and recognition from local mayors, regional chairs, and MPPs.
