Nancy Hughes is a senior finance and accounting professional with over 25 years of experience, leveraging operational and financial leadership expertise to drive process improvements and achieve corporate and strategic objectives. She has a track record of achieving cost efficiencies and business solutions, implementing technology, processes, application, systems, and tools that increase profitability and efficiency.
Nancy started her post-university career as an auditor with the public accounting firm of Grant Thornton. She is currently working as the Director of Finance for the start-up additive manufacturing company of Burloak Technologies, a division of Samuel and Sons.
Nancy was recently appointed to the ADAPT Board as a non-director in January 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and has an active CPA license. She is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States and currently lives in Halton Hills with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 dogs.
